No. Baptism is optional. Anyone can attend the conference. This opportunity is simply available for those who feel ready to take this step.
Going under the water represents the old life being left behind. Coming out of the water represents new life in Christ. It is an outward expression of the inward change God has already done in your heart.
If you were baptized before and now feel that you are making a personal decision to follow Jesus, you can choose to be baptized again. Many people take this step as a renewed commitment.
Children can be baptized if they understand the meaning of the decision. A parent or guardian must be present, and our team will help you determine if your child is ready.
Nothing special is required. We provide a shirt, towel, and a private changing space. You are welcome to bring your own clothes to change into after.
