Get a Discipler

Find someone to walk with you as you grow in Jesus.

What Is a Discipler?

A discipler is a trusted, trained follower of Jesus who will:

  • Meet with you regularly to talk, listen, and pray
  • Help you apply Scripture to real life
  • Walk with you through decisions, habits, and spiritual disciplines
  • Encourage you to build a life that reflects Jesus in your family, work, and calling

This is not counseling or coaching. It is spiritual family. One believer walking with another so both can grow.

How the Discipleship Journey Works

1. Apply for a Discipler

Fill out the short application so we can learn about your story, church home, city, and what you are hoping for in this season.

2. We Pray and Match You

Our team reviews your application and matches you with a discipler based on city, church connection where possible, gender, age range, and schedule.

3. Connect and Set a Rhythm

Your discipler reaches out to you. Together you agree on how you will meet. In person, online, or hybrid. How often. And what you want to focus on first.

4. Grow Together Over Time

You will walk through Scripture, prayer, life decisions, habits, and character. The goal is simple. Becoming more like Jesus in the real places where you live, work, and serve.

Frequently Asked Questions

A discipler focuses first on your walk with Jesus. Their main goal is to help you know God, follow Scripture, and build a life that looks like Jesus. Mentors and coaches often focus on skills, career, or performance. Your discipler may speak into those areas, but always from a spiritual and biblical foundation.

Anyone who is eighteen or older and is serious about growing in Jesus can apply. If you are under eighteen, we encourage you to connect through your local church youth ministry or with a parent or guardian involved.

No. You do not have to attend a partner church to apply. We will ask where you currently worship so we can honor your local church and, when possible, connect you with someone who understands your context.

There is no fee to be matched with a discipler. Disciples volunteer their time because they believe in investing in others. If you choose to meet in a coffee shop or similar space, you can decide between you how to handle any personal costs.

Most discipleship relationships begin with a three to six month commitment, meeting at least once a month. At that point, you and your discipler can decide together whether to continue, adjust the rhythm, or transition.

Yes in some cases. You can note in your application if you are interested in couple or family discipleship. Availability may be limited, so in some seasons we may recommend individual discipleship first and then couple or family options later.
